I have a room I want to convert to a office/den with computer desk,entertainment center and a little furniture

I am a web/graphic designer and I am building a home office in 5 foot by 7 foot apartment dining room. I need room for two computers (24″ iMac and a small-form-factor Dell XPS), a printer/scanner, another printer, a light table and a drawing table. I would also like to have room for a bookshelf. I would like my office furniture to go up against the wall and round the corner (the other two walls of the office are open – to the kitchen one way and the living room the other way). I don’t want anything really expensive. I also already have one computer desk and I would like all furniture to be black.

I’ve decided to turn an extra bedroom into a home office. So far it is a blank canvas sort of speak. I have been looking all over the internet for some ideas on wall color, but I haven’t found any that I really like. I will be able to match my furniture to whatever the color is, so that won’t be an issue. Any suggestions??
My other rooms are neutral. I wouldn’t mind having some color, but I don’t want anything too dark. It won’t be a professional office. Just more of a computer room type. But I want it to be “adult”.

I work for a company called Winport USA. It’s a small company that imports school, home, and office furniture. The company actually has really, really nice furniture, that is not common in the US. I have to start calling schools and asking them if they are interested in buying any school furniture. I am supposed to set up a meeting with them if possible, and give them our website address.

I honestly don’t even know where to start. This is my first sales job, and the entire company is counting on me. I have no experience whatsoever. Any advice?

Okay, so i have a really boring cluttered home office and i really need help. It has white walls (blech) and a lot of black and dark cherry wood furniture. I really would like to keep with the cherry wood.

Unfortunately i have a bland, uncomfortable futon (blue “mattress” with black “supports”) that i can’t get rid of. I also cannot get rid of the large map of town and the large high school class pictures displayed on the wall. (though i would appreciate some help on how to display them, right now its pretty much one, then below, another…)

Anyone have any ideas for wall color ( i REALLY need help with that) and what i can do about the futon and what i should do about the wall displays and etc?

Right now my home office is very cold, bland and unattractive-looking. I really want to soften it up while keeping the pieces i already have (2 end tables, 2 desks, a book shelf, all in dark cherry wood. Also the futon, though it seriously needs help).

I need to get some help for my move. I was thinking about hiring one or two of those moving people that chill outside home depot to help me. My place is a 2 story 2 bedroom condo [2 beds, 2 computer desks, a few drawers, about 10 or less boxes, etc] how much is enough??

im looking for the best way to get a great deal on a basic computer for home use. i want a desk top with atleast 120 gigs on the harddrive and i dual core processor but dont wana pay big bucks. ive looked into refurbished dells, wallmart specials, etc. i really dont wana pay more than 5 or 6 hundred dollars but dont want a junker. i just need it to manage my ipod and surf the net. please help

At home we have a dell ex computer. We have our internet with a cord, thats called dsl connection right?.I dont know much about computers oka.Well im planning on buying a toshiba labtop.I want wirless internet for my labtop when i get it.Wold i just have to buy a router and connect it to my dsl or what/how does that work/ would i have to pay extra money or is buying the router all i would have to pay for?If u can just connect a router to the dsl cable would that make my home desk top computer and labtop slower because my home desk top is slow as it is?

hey guys, im constantly getting knocked offline, and when i right click on the little symbol of two computers in the bottom right hand corner and click on repair, im re-connected, can anybody explain to me what is going on? Working on an old Hewlett Packard desk comp, windows xp home edition, 2002 version. Was working fine a couple weeks ago from my old apartment, I moved into a house, getting my cable net from the same company, connection is suddenly bad. Any ideas?
