im looking in to buying a new computer desk for work (at home) since im a digital artist and I need to find a nice corner desk with drawers, such as http://oysterbed.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_95&products_id=279
and it would be perfect but they do not sell online and I dont live in the same state,

so does anyone know a good website with desks i could look at? or of a desk like the one in the link? thank you!

I want to free up some disc space on my home desk top computer. it’s a windows xp. when i go to add or remove programs, Can i do this by removing some of the older windows,microsoft, or security updates that say “rarely used” if so which ones? or do you have any other ideas as to what programs or updates i could remove that would free up some space for me? how i can free up some disc space.

so i found this computer desk tht is absolutely perfect for my room (size, height, color). problem is tht its like 269.00$ sooo i was wondering how to find desks similar online or if you know of any. heres some picures and dimentions. the dimentions for me is maxiumum length is 40inches long, only real restrictions. thanks if u can help or kno a coupon or somewhere to find it cheaper

Had to get recovery CDs online for the model of hp pavilion 551w to recover this computer and what came with it orginally (which none of it is needed or needed on the pc) and it is Windows xp home edition , that is what it says starting up and welcome to… But going into recovery or options like safe mode it says Windows Whistler. I m not sure what this means. Don’t know where the Cd is that originally came with the computer, so never saw if it said Windows Xp home editon.. but it is supposed to be. Can I get a Windows XP home edition Cd and install it over this recovery? Not sure if this is another name for Windows XP home edition? I thought trying something different might solve some issues with the machine. Like closing out of the internet, shutting down and restarting, losing color on the task bar (the blue) and start menu ( the green) not going back onto the OS if it gets shut down from the start menu, because we want to say on power and electric. I have noticed the time I shut it down, when it comes back on it has lost the color (green start menu) of ( blue task bar) the task bar and start and back to grey or beige color and looks like windows 98. Not even my other hp pavilion XE734 was as bad as this one. hp apparently has a power supply problem.
The recovery CD’s do come with instructions. There are 8 Cd’s and have the option of full system recovery or standard. Standard only uses the first CD #1. It recommends to try system restore but most of the time doesn’t work. Espceially if can’t get onto OS, back onto windows and the desktop.

I want to buy a desk top for home use. It doesn’t have to be fancy but I do need it to be reliable and reasonably priced. I need it for web browsing music and videos and other regular uses. What should I look for when I go to the store? And where can i get the best deal ?
